KP woman kills mother-in-law over domestic dispute

A woman allegedly killed her mother-in-law following a domestic dispute in Barama, Swat, police said.

According to reports, after committing the crime, the woman attempted to cover up her actions by staging a fake robbery, hoping to mislead authorities. However, local police quickly grew suspicious and arrested the woman as the prime suspect in the case.

A formal investigation is now underway, and a case has been registered against her.

This tragic event in Swat follows another recent horrific crime in the Karim Baistkhel area of Bannu, where a woman brutally murdered her husband in a family dispute.

According to the Mandan police, the suspect, Sultana Bibi, attacked her 40-year-old husband, Mohammad Roshan, with an axe, killing him instantly.

Both incidents have sent shockwaves through their respective communities, drawing attention to the rising number of domestic violence cases that tragically escalate into violent crimes.
