In a distressing incident, an overseas Pakistani woman was robbed at gunpoint by two armed motorcycle-riding robbers in Lahore’s Factory Area.

According to reports, the robbers approached the woman, held her at gunpoint, and snatched her gold chain before fleeing the scene.

The victim, visibly shaken, reported the incident to the local authorities. Police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area in hopes of identifying the culprits.

The incident has raised renewed concerns about street crime and the safety of citizens, particularly returning overseas Pakistanis.

Last year, a woman was robbed by an armed mugger in Karachi.

According to the details, the incident took place on September 10 in Federal B area Block 1, Sharifabad area of the metropolis at 2:32pm in the afternoon.

The brazen robbery was captured in a CCTV footage, which went viral on social media.

In the video, a robber on a motorbike could be seen looting the woman, who was passing through the residential neighbourhood, at gunpoint.

The bandit, in the video, could also be seen touching the hijab-wearing woman's ear to check gold earrings.
