Seminary teacher arrested for 'raping' fellow female instructor in Jhelum

Police in Jhelum have arrested an imam of a seminary (madrassa) on charges of raping a married woman who also worked as a teacher at the same institution.

Kala Gujran Police confirmed that an initial medical examination has verified that the teacher was indeed raped. The police further stated that samples would be sent to a laboratory in Lahore for DNA testing to support the investigation.

In a separate incident, the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle in Peshawar arrested a man for harassing his ex-wife online.

The suspect, identified as Mohsin, was apprehended after allegedly editing and sharing objectionable videos of his ex-wife on WhatsApp. The FIA reported that he was arrested on University Road in Peshawar, and his cellphone was confiscated.

According to the FIA, Mohsin had been blackmailing his ex-wife for several months, even going so far as to send the explicit videos to her family members.
