Pakistan captain Babar Azam took to social media platform to share his "relishing" moments during the ongoing fitness camp at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) in Kakul.
Taking to Instagram, the 29-year-old batter shared two pictures containing beautiful scenery in the background.
"Relishing Kakul’s scenery - wonderful!" he captioned the post.
Currently, Green Shirts are undergoing strict fitness training at ASPT in Abbottabad.
The camp is aimed to enhance the physical and mental strength of the players, ensuring they are in the best condition to face the challenges ahead.
It's pertinent to mention here that Babar Azam has recently replaced Shaheen Shah Afridi as white-ball captain.
The fast bowler just led the team in the T20 series against New Zealand, where green shirts failed to secure victory and were defeated by the Kiwis 4-1.
Shaheen also expressed dismay over the fake statement attributed to him by the cricket board following Babar's appointment.
“It was an absolute honour to captain the Pakistan National Cricket Team. I will always cherish the memories and the opportunity. As a team player, it is my duty to back our captain, Babar Azam. I have played under his captaincy and have nothing but respect for him. I will try to help him on and off the field. We are all one. Our aim is the same, to help Pakistan become the best team in the world,” the PCB said quoting Shaheen as saying.
Reacting to the statement, Afridi said that the authorities had not discussed or taken his permission before releasing the statement.
