3-year-old girl, recently given anti-polio drops, loses legs in Israeli airstrike

Over a year has passed since the start of Israeli brutality in Gaza, with harrowing accounts of atrocities against Palestinian civilians, especially children, continuing to emerge.

In this ongoing campaign of war crimes, thousands of Palestinians have been martyred or injured, the majority of whom are women and children.

A recent report by Al Jazeera highlights the plight of a Palestinian family devastated by Israeli aggression.

The report details an incident from September this year, when Shamima, a mother of two from Gaza, took her 3-year-old and 22-month-old daughters to a camp for polio vaccinations.

Shortly after returning home, Israeli warplanes bombed Shamima's house.

The bombing resulted in Shamima’s martyrdom, left her husband and daughters injured, and caused severe injuries to 3-year-old Hanan, who lost both her legs in the attack.

According to Al Jazeera, Hanan now spends most of her time with her younger sister, often asking heart-wrenching questions like, "Where is my mother?" and "What happened to my legs?"
