Seven killed as air ambulance crashes in India's Jharkhand

An air ambulance crashed in India’s eastern state of Jharkhand, killing all seven on board the aircraft.
Those who lost their lives included two crew members, the patient being transported and the patient’s accompanying relatives. There were no survivors.
The aircraft, a Beechcraft C90 operated by Redbird Airways, departed from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the crew had sought a deviation in their planned route shortly after takeoff because of adverse weather conditions.
Details about what led to the crash have not yet been officially released.
Aviation authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the reported weather-related route change.
