Palestinian man Zain Al-Din Al-Hadami was recently released by Israel as part of a hostage exchange under the ceasefire deal. However, while his ordeal in Israeli detention ended, he returned home only to face the devastating reality of his wife's passing.

Al-Hadami, who returned to his home in Hebron, West Bank, was welcomed by his family, but his only focus was finding his late wife.

Overcome with grief, he went straight to the wall where her picture was hanging and broke down in tears. He kissed her photo as his family members tried to console him.

While he was detained in an Israeli prison, Al-Hadami’s wife passed away, leaving him in lifelong mourning over her loss.

On Wednesday, Israel released more than 600 Palestinian prisoners, while Hamas handed over four bodies of Israeli hostages to the Red Cross. This marked the final hostage exchange of the six-week ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Israel continues its military offensive in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli army killed 16-year-old Hamid Fadl Muwafi near the separation wall in Qalqilya.

Under the ongoing "Operation Iron Wall", at least 40,000 Palestinians have been forced to evacuate from four refugee camps, Tulkarm, Nur Shams, Jenin, and Far'a in northern West Bank.

This marks the first time in history that Palestinians have completely evacuated these camps, which were originally established in the 1950s during the Nakba.
