Neeraj thinks Amitabh Bachchan is 'perfect choice' for Arshad Nadeem's role in biopic

Indian star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has suggested casting a tall actor for a film on the life of Pakistani gold medalist Arshad Nadeem.

The 27-year-old athlete made the country proud on August 8 when he threw a javelin at the record-breaking spot of 92.97 metres at the Paris Olympics 2024.

The throw made him able to end Pakistan's 40-year wait for an individual gold medal at the Summer Games.

His opponent Neeraj Chopra managed to secure silver medal for his country.

During a post-medal ceremony interview, Neeraj Chopra was asked which actor he would choose to play Arshad Nadeem's role if a film was made about his life.

Neeraj Chopra replied that an actor with a tall stature should be chosen for the role. 

He suggested Amitabh Bachchan if a film was to be made in India.

When the same question was asked to Arshad Nadeem, he chose Shah Rukh Khan to play Neeraj Chopra's role in a biopic.
