Following Pakistan's early exit from the T20 World Cup, internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has offered his leadership to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to address the team's issues.
In a recent video, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan expressed his desire to lead the cricket body in tackling the challenges facing Pakistani cricket.
While clarifying that he was not asking for the removal of the PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, he emphasised his own willingness to contribute to finding solutions.
“The PCB should be run by an experienced cricketer like myself. I can go to the ground four times a week to assess player performance and oversee management affairs. I will appoint just one coach," he said.
When asked if he was calling for the resignation of Mohsin Naqvi, he said, "No, Mohsin Naqvi should not be removed. However, the authorities should carefully consider the situation.”

Due to a string of losses in the T20 World Cup, Pakistan cricket team faced backlash following a disappointing performance that led to their early exit from the tournament.
On Friday, the match between the USA and Ireland was cancelled due to rain and a wet outfield. This left Pakistan with fewer points on the table than the USA, resulting in their elimination from the T20 World Cup.
