"What the hell kind of a world are we living in": Mahira Khan on Rafah bombings

Mahira Khan has reacted stong to the recent bombings by Israel on Rafah, which is considered as a safe zone.

Mahira Khan took to Instagram to offer words of stirring sympathy in trying to wake those who continue watching the extraordinarily distressing genocide in silence.

She exclaimed, “Burnt people alive!!! While they slept in tents, which were ‘safe zones’!!! Repeated bombings of refugees!!”

“What the hell kind of a world are we living in!! Who are these people who can see burnt decapitated babies and not be shaken to the core? This power hungry world has failed you,” Mahira Khan sighed.

Israel unleashed a massacre on camps sheltering displaced civilians in Rafah, resulting in the deaths of over 30 people, including children who were beheaded and burned alive. 

The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that at least 35 civilians were charred to death, with dozens more wounded. Women and children comprised the majority of the casualties.

Videos from the scene showed harrowing images of destruction, including a person holding the headless, burned body of a child as people searched the burning tents to rescue their loved ones.
