Bushra Bibi, the wife of imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has ruled out the possibility of postponement of the November 24 protest.

In a video message uploaded to the PTI's social media accounts, she said that the protest's date can only be changed if her husband is released from jail and can personally outline the subsequent course of action for the party's supporters.

Imran Khan has urged his supporters to converge on Islamabad on November 24 for the purported restoration of democracy and the judiciary.

However, authorities have initiated countermeasures, including partial suspension of internet and mobile services in Islamabad, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces starting November 22.

Bushra Bibi's statement follows reports that certain senior PTI leaders had advised Imran Khan to postpone the protest, suggesting that "everything would be fine" if he did so.

She dismissed these claims as "mere propaganda" and reaffirmed that the November 24 protest would proceed "at all costs."

Bushra Bibi also responded to accusations that PTI has incited violence, particularly the controversial slogan of “al-Jihad al-Jihad” that has been attributed to some of its supporters.

She strongly denied any such directive from the PTI leadership, attributing these slogans to the sentiments of the people, not party instructions.
