No one allowed to hold protest, sit-in in Islamabad: Mohsin Naqvi

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that no protests or sit-ins will be allowed in Islamabad, emphasizing that the Islamabad High Court's directives will be strictly enforced.
He warned that anyone violating court orders would face consequences, including being held responsible for any damage or loss of life.
Naqvi stressed that the government will implement the high court's orders "100%" and ensure that daily life in Islamabad remains uninterrupted.
He also pointed out that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is responsible for maintaining law and order within its jurisdiction, citing the 41 funerals held in KP .
The minister confirmed that 15 platoons of Frontier Constabulary (FC) have been allocated to KP, while Islamabad's needs have been ignored. He assured that anyone violating Section 144 in Islamabad will face strict legal action.
In light of the impending protests, the government has tightened security measures, including deploying over 9,000 Pakistan Rangers and Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Islamabad and over 10,000 in Punjab Province.
Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code has also been imposed in Islamabad, temporarily prohibiting unauthorized public gatherings.
