The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced a two-day extension in the registration deadline for Hajj 2026, allowing prospective pilgrims to complete their applications by Friday, July 11, 2025.

According to the Ministry’s spokesperson, Muhammad Umar Butt, the extension comes in response to a large volume of requests from intending pilgrims seeking additional time to complete the process.

Umar Butt stated that registration can be completed through 15 designated banks across the country as well as via the Ministry’s official online portal.

So far, over 313,000 applicants have successfully submitted their applications for Hajj 2026.

He further clarified that the final cost of the pilgrimage and other relevant terms and conditions will be announced separately under the forthcoming Hajj Policy 2026.

For Hajj 2025, Pakistan received a quota of 179,210 pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, equally allocated between the government and private Hajj operators.
