In a move to maintain professionalism and discipline, the Rapid Response Force (RRF) of Sindh province has issued a notification banning police personnel from creating TikTok videos while wearing their uniform.

The notification prohibited all RRF police personnel from making TikTok videos in official vehicles and within the department's premises.

"In view of sensitive nature of duty of Rapid Response Force (RRF), the security concerns of the Bases and security threats to the law enforcement agencies. The making of TikTok videos in uniform by the Police Personnel is an unprofessional attitude and against the norms of a disciplined force," the notification read.

The ban is aimed at preventing "unprofessional behavior and ensuring integrity and professionalism among police officials".

The notification highlighted the need for urgent action to enhance the overall efficiency of the force and maintain its focus on official duties. 

It said that making TikTok videos in police uniform is against the rules of discipline and may have adverse effects on police performance.

"[...] ban is hereby imposed on the making of TikTok videos in uniform for all the Police Personnel of RRF/CMU Sindh, Karachi within the premises of the bases, Main Gates and in government vehicles, with immediate effect," it said.

All Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP), SSP RRF, CMU Sindh, and DSP Admin RRF Sindh Karachi have been directed to ensure compliance with the order. 

"Any violation will be viewed seriously and strict departmental action will be taken against the defaulter," the notification warned.
