Saudi Arabia: Bus crash kills five Pakistani pilgrims heading for Umrah

A tragic bus crash in Saudi Arabia claimed the lives of five Pakistani Umrah pilgrims, including three women, as they traveled from Al-Badr to Madinah, according to Saudi authorities.
Saudi rescue officials confirmed the deaths and said the accident occurred when the pilgrims’ bus collided with a trailer en route to Madinah. All passengers on board were on their way to perform Umrah.
Rescue teams were dispatched immediately after the accident was reported. The rescue workers swiftly transported the deceased and injured to nearby hospitals.

Officials said the injured included women, children, and elderly individuals.
As per reports, all five deceased Pakistani pilgrims were from the Bahawalnagar district of Punjab.
Two of the women who lost their lives belonged to village 228/9 R, while the third was from village 201 Murad. Among the two elderly male victims, one was from village 39/3 R and the other from Dahranwala.
