The father of Armughan, who is accused of killing Mustafa Amir, said that the girl, Marsha Shahid, who is also reported to be involved in the case, is related to businessman Aqeel Karim Dhedhi.
Kamran Qureshi spoke to the media on Monday and asserted that he would not offer any money and maintained that if he had bribed authorities on behalf of his son, he would have been sitting in the judge's chamber.
He described the entire case as a conspiracy against Mustafa and Armughan, stating that both were being framed by certain individuals, whose names he refused to disclose to the media.
Qureshi further mentioned that he had shared those names with Mustafa's mother after the incident.
He claimed that he would not offer any money and maintained that if he had bribed authorities on behalf of his son, he would have been sitting in the judge's chamber.

He shared details of the police raid in which unknown individuals entered his highly secured house. He recounted receiving a call from Armughan, during which he heard gunf!re and Armughan screaming that they had come for his laptop.
Qureshi, who was in Changa Manga, said he left immediately after learning of the incident.
“After hours of travel, when I reached Karachi, I learned that Armughan surrendered on the advice of my brother, Asif Jameel Qureshi, who is in charge of the CIA establishment,” he said.

He also mentioned that when Armaghan left with the police, another group arrived at the house to vandalise the security cameras, took all the laptops, and even seized a bag from his ex-wife Sara.
Qureshi claimed that the bag contained a laptop that controlled the security system of the house. “When I called Asif, it was revealed to me that the AVCC and another security official were involved, but someone else was holding the laptop and controlling my house,” he said.
He emphasised that this laptop has not been handed over to the AVCC, police, or any law enforcement agencies and that he is unaware of its current location.
Qureshi admitted that his son is a drug addict and demanded that authorities provide him with security.
He said that Armughan is gravely ill in prison and that "he is about to die."
