In newly released emails from the notorious sex scandal figure Jeffrey Epstein, one message makes reference to Pakistan’s national attire.
According to international news agencies, an email included in the Epstein files released by the US Department of Justice shows that Epstein expressed interest in purchasing a shalwar kameez.
In the email, Epstein praised the traditional outfit and indicated his desire to buy it.
He asked what the name of the pants was, and was informed that the trousers are called shalwar and the shirt is known as kameez.
He was also advised that the outfit could be worn at Indian cultural events, to which Epstein replied that he liked it and wanted to purchase five more, requesting slightly larger sizes.
The email dates back to 2017 and is part of a larger batch of documents released by the US Department of Justice under a court order.
The collection contains over 300,000 pages, including emails, thousands of photographs, and videos. These documents were made public after Epstein’s death in 2019 under the Transparency Act, aiming to expose the global network and connections involved in the sex scandal.
