The Gaza Strip has witnessed a massive escalation in violence, with Israeli attacks resulting in the deaths of 119 Palestinians and injuring 209 others in the last 72 hours, according to the enclave's health ministry.
This surge in violence brings the total death toll to 41,391, with over 95,760 wounded since October last year.
The Israeli military offensives in Gaza have claimed the lives of 16,456 children and 11,000 women since October 7.
The relentless air and artillery strikes have displaced almost 1.7 million Gazans, as reported by the Palestinian government's information office.
Furthermore, Israeli attacks have killed at least 270 aid workers, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
The United Nations has reported that two-thirds of buildings across the Gaza Strip have been damaged or destroyed.
The restrictions on food, water, medicine, and fuel supplies have worsened the situation, with thousands of children diagnosed with malnutrition, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
The UN's World Food Programme (WFP) head, Cindy McCain, has stated that people in Gaza are starving to death, with approximately 1.1 million struggling with catastrophic hunger and starvation.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has directed Israel to ensure basic services and humanitarian aid delivery in the besieged enclave.
The ongoing conflict has sparked widespread concern, with human rights organisations calling for an immediate ceasefire and investigation into alleged war crimes committed by Israel.
