Dr. Khateer Ahmed, Director General of Rescue 1122, mentioned that this motorcycle service is aimed at ensuring prompt emergency response, especially in situations involving traffic jams and road closures. As soon as an emergency call is received, these motorcycle ambulances will function as first responders.
He added that the motorcycle ambulances are equipped with essential medical equipment such as BP sets, glucometers, pulse oximeters, nebulizers, cervical collars, oxygen cylinders, tourniquets, first aid kits, and medicines.
A trained Rescue 1122 emergency medical technician will operate the motorcycle and provide immediate medical assistance to individuals who are sick or injured at the scene.
