Aamir had divorced me due to pressure from his second wife's family: Bushra Iqbal

In a recent podcast with Hafiz Ahmed, the television host revealed that the couple never wanted to part ways with each other.

Without naming anyone, Bushra said Aamir Liaquat had divorced her due to the pressure from his second wife's, Tuba Anwar, family.

"Neither I wanted to part ways with Aamir nor he. Only God knows my affection for him. But, the second family's pressure forced him to do so," she said in an interview.

Tuba was the second wife of Aamir Liaquat Hussain. They got married in 2018 but the couple parted ways after 14 months of separation as the Tuba announced khula in February last year.

The very next day, Aamir announced his third marriage with Dania Malik. However, Dania also filed for Khula just three months later.

In July last year, the politician passed away at the age of 50.

The PTI leader was found unconscious at his home in Khudad Colony and shifted to a private hospital in critical condition.

Later, the doctors said that Liaquat was dead when he was brought to the hospital.
