After Karachi, women harassed in broad daylight in Islamabad’s F9-Park

After days of ghastly incident of sexual assault attempt with a veiled woman in Karachi, a man was caught on camera doing lewd acts in front of women in the federal capital’s F-9 park, also known as Fatima Jinnah Park.

The incident came to light after a video of the distressing incident went viral on social media.

In a viral video, a man can be seen indecently exposing himself in front of women in Islamabad’s F-9 park.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Interior Jawad Sohrab Malik took notice of an incident and summoned a report from the capital’s top cop.

The capital police spokesperson also announced a cash prize for those who would help police in identification of the suspect.

However, no official complaint was filed regarding the incident till the filing of this news report on Saturday.

Earlier this year, a young woman was gang-raped by two armed men at the same F-9 Park in Islamabad.

According to the victim, she was visiting the Fatima Jinnah Pak along with a friend when she was raped by the suspects at gunpoint.

Later, the federal police claimed that two suspects allegedly involved in the F9 park rape case were gunned down in an exchange of fire with police at a checkpoint in Islamabad’s D-12 area.
