As per details, she was summoned by Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah to record her statement in a case.
However, Somia and producer Ali Usman failed to appear before the court.
Last year in August, the anchorperson left Pakistan to avoid arrest after he was booked in several cases including sedition charges.
Sharif was killed on the night of October 23 in Kenya by the local GSU officers in mysterious circumstances as he was being driven to Nairobi from Ammodump Kwenia training camp, a joint which is owned by Pakistani businessmen Khurram Ahmad and Waqar Ahmad.
The Kenyan police contradicted its statement by first saying that Sharif was killed in a case of mistaken identity, but later it alleged that shots were fired at the police from inside Sharif’s car and he was kil*ed when the response unit fired back.
Sharif’s family, friends and Pakistani media believe the senior journalist was killed in a planned murder attack in Kenya.
