Man opens fire at toll plaza employee in Karachi over toll tax dispute

According to police, the incident happened when a motorist approached the toll plaza and was asked to pay the toll tax. An argument erupted between the unidentified motorist and 25-year-old Abrar over the amount of toll tax to be paid.

Tensions escalated rapidly, leading the motorist to draw a pistol and open fire at the victim. The toll booth worker was struck by a bullet but managed to seek cover and escape further harm.

However, the armed suspect managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime.

Surveillance footage from the toll plaza's CCTV cameras captured the entire incident, including the suspect's escape.

Fortunately, Abrar has survived and is now in stable condition after undergoing medical treatment
